In-house engineering
Coastal Plastics has an in-house engineering department.
The engineering staff, tool shop, molding department,
inspection and sales department work closely to
ensure quality products in a timely manner at the
best competitive rate.
Coastal uses the latest technology
and highly skilled mold makers to manufacture our
molds. The tool shop is capable of manufacturing
short run prototype molds to hot runner production
molds. We utilize CAD programs, CNC equipment,
manual milling and turning equipment, EDM, grinding,
welding, heat treating and polishing. We maintain
all molds at our facility with regular maintenance,
scheduled cleaning and repairs.
